Get creative with a content “moodboard” and Sara Berkes
Sara’s best tips for beautiful content:
- Maintain a consistent visual message — your visuals should match the voice of your content. Big and bold! Or soft and sweet. Make your visual brand fit your voice.
- Keep a simple style guide to refer to with your colors, fonts, and graphic elements to help you keep images consistent.
- Keep your blogs and newsletters simple! Don’t clutter them with too much stuff.

Marketing Mini Mission:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to sign up for Pinterest and create your very own Moodboard for your business and brand. Take a screenshot of it or share the link to your curated brand & business Pinterest board, and share it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #contentdirectionmission #mybizboard and tag @saraberkescreative and @lacylu42.
BONUS mission: save the photos on your Pinterest board and arrange into a single Moodboard using a web based program like Canva or PicMonkey or, if you have the software, something like Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Save this single Moodboard as a jpeg and upload it instead of linking to or screenshotting your Pinterest board.
